CIRCLIP TACH SPADE
A small circlip that retains the spade terminal on the back of a Triumph tachometer.
This is the small circlip that retains the spade terminal connection at the back of the tachometer, part number 60-0494, also known under the earlier D494 designation. It shows up across a long run of catalog listings for speedometer and tachometer equipment, so it's a common small-hardware item for keeping the electrical spade connector seated properly on the back of the tach head.

It's a minor clip, but if it goes missing the terminal can work loose and cause an intermittent or dead tach reading. Cheap enough to keep a couple on hand when you're doing any work back there.
Note that this number has been superseded by 60-0493 in current parts listings, so if you're ordering today you may see it cross to that number instead.
