Cable clip (rear lamp)

A small cable clip for securing rear lamp wiring, later superseded by 82-9918.

PN · 60-0343
Superseded by 82-9918.

This is a cable clip that holds the rear lamp wiring in place, part number 60-0343, also known by its earlier D343 designation. It shows up in the parts book under the headlamp, wiring harness, switches and tail lamp section as well as under control cables, which tells you it's doing double duty keeping loose wire and cable runs tidy along the frame or fender rather than sitting inside any one assembly.

It's a small item but the kind of thing that keeps your wiring from rattling against the frame or getting pinched when the suspension moves. If yours is missing or cracked, the wire it should be holding tends to migrate and chafe, which is worse to sort out later than replacing the clip now.

The factory later renumbered this part to 82-9918, so if you're working from a later parts book or cross-referencing a newer catalog, that's the number you'll find it under. Catalog appearances for this one run 1970 to 1971, but check your own bike's wiring layout before ordering since these small clips get swapped out or omitted more often than people expect.
