CLUTCH CABLE 500 53-54
Clutch cable for the 500 pre-unit twin, 1953-54, catalog number 60-0306 (also listed as MC-793/5).
This is a clutch cable, listed in the catalog as 60-0306, also cross-referenced under the older MC-793/5 form. The description ties it to the 500 model line for the 1953-54 seasons, so it belongs to the pre-unit twin family from that period.

A clutch cable runs from the lever on the handlebar down to the clutch mechanism at the engine, and it's a wear item that stretches and frays with age and use. If yours is sticky, frayed, or won't adjust properly anymore, this is the part that replaces it.
