Fork spanner (for cap nut) as required

The factory fork spanner for removing and installing the front fork cap nuts, originally supplied in the bike's toolkit.

PN · 60-0220

This is the fork spanner Triumph included in the toolkit for working on the front fork cap nuts. It's a specialty wrench, not something you'd find in a general socket set, shaped to reach in and grip the cap nut without chewing up the softer metal around it.

In the parts books it shows up alongside the toolkit and battery/air filter listings, which tells you this was part of the kit handed over with the bike rather than a service part bought separately. The legacy references D220 and P236A are just older catalog numbers for this same tool.

If you're restoring a toolkit to original spec or just need the right wrench so you're not fighting a fork cap with adjustable pliers, this is the one that's supposed to be in the roll. Give the shop a call if you want to confirm it matches what your particular toolkit calls for.
