The mainshaft is the shaft that carries the gearbox's mainshaft gears and takes drive from the clutch through to the layshaft assembly and out to final drive. It's a wear item that mostly gets attention during a gearbox rebuild, when bushings, bearings, or gear teeth show enough wear to warrant pulling the whole shaft.
We don't have more detail on this one beyond what's in the catalog record. If you're rebuilding a T150 box, give us a call and we'll confirm this is the right shaft for your gearbox before you order.
