BREATHER STUB FOR CHAIN C
A breather stub fitting for a chaincase, letting trapped air escape so pressure doesn't push oil past the seals.
PN · 57-2166/VENT
This is a breather stub for a chaincase, listed in our records as 57-2166/VENT with the older RS005 number also on file for the same part. It's a small fitting that lets a chaincase vent air rather than build up pressure, which otherwise tends to push oil past seals and gaskets.
