CLUTCH SHOCK RUBBER SMALL - 3 Required Replaces- 68-3282, 57-2250, 57-4324, 57-5001 (12 T150)
Small clutch shock absorber rubber for the clutch hub on Triumph and BSA triples, 3 required per bike.
This is the small clutch shock rubber used in the clutch hub on Triumph and BSA triples, part number 57-1723 (also seen in older books as T1723). These little rubbers sit inside the clutch center and cushion the drive as power comes on and off, taking the snap out of the transmission so gears and shafts aren't taking a hard hit every time you get on or off the throttle.

Our records show 3 of these are required per bike, and this same rubber has appeared under several other numbers over the years - 68-3282, 57-2250, 57-4324, and 57-5001 - so if your parts book lists one of those instead, you're looking at the same physical piece. It shows up in the gearbox outer cover and clutch sections of the parts books across catalog listings running from 1968 into the mid-1970s.
These rubbers harden and shrink with age, and since there are several fitted in the clutch hub at once, it's worth checking all of them at the same time rather than just the one that's obviously cracked. Confirm against your own parts book before ordering, since the same rubber has traveled under a handful of different part numbers depending on which edition you're holding.
