This is the early-type mainshaft for the T100 gearbox, listed in the parts books under 57-1406 and shown in the GEARBOX OUTER COVER figure. The mainshaft is the input shaft that runs through the center of the gearbox, carrying the sliding gears and mating up with the clutch to pass power from the primary drive into the box.
