CLUTCH LIFTING ARM,47-62

Clutch lifting arm for 1947-1962 gearboxes, part of the selector mechanism that operates the clutch pushrod.

PN · 57-0402

This is the clutch lifting arm, part number 57-0402, also cataloged under the older T402 designation. It shows up in the gearbox selector mechanism figure, where it's the lever that pushes on the clutch pushrod inside the gearbox to disengage the clutch when you pull the lever at the bars.

The catalog record for this one covers 1947 to 1962, so it's an early piece meant for the older gearbox internals from that era. If you're rebuilding a selector mechanism from a bike in that range, this is the part that translates cable pull into pushrod movement to lift the clutch plates apart.

Because gearbox internals changed over the years, double check what you're pulling out of your case before ordering this one under either number.
