Sleeve, terminal (standard)
A Lucas terminal sleeve used to insulate wire connections in the headlamp electrical assembly.
This is a terminal sleeve, the small insulating cover that slips over a wire connector where it meets a bulb holder, switch tag, or other electrical connection. Lucas electrics on these bikes use bare spade or bullet connectors at a lot of joints, and a sleeve like this keeps that bare metal from shorting against the frame or another terminal nearby.

It shows up in the catalog under electrical equipment and headlamp assembly listings, including the Fastback, Fastback L.R., Roadster, Interpol, and Interstate headlamp figures, so it's tied to the wiring inside and around the headlamp shell. The catalog spans appearances from 1969 through 1973.
It's a small, easy-to-lose part, worth having a few on hand when you're going through a headlamp harness or doing any connector work, since old sleeves get brittle and crack with age.
