STATOR,LATE T140
Lucas RM24 three-phase stator, part 47252, used in the late T140 charging system.
This is the later three-phase stator used on the T140-family charging system, part number 47252. It's a Lucas RM24 unit, and it's the stationary coil pack that sits inside the primary drive area, mounted around the alternator rotor on the end of the crankshaft. The stator is what actually generates the AC current the rest of the charging system rectifies and regulates into something the battery and lights can use.

Our records show this listed as the late T140 stator, which points to the three-phase RM24 charging setup rather than the earlier single-phase alternator arrangement. If you're not sure which system your motor is running, pull the existing stator and rotor and compare wiring and coil count before ordering, since the two systems aren't interchangeable parts.
This is a Lucas-branded electrical component, consistent with Lucas making the alternator stators and rotors for these bikes. Give us a call if you want help confirming which charging system your bike came with before you commit to this one.
