STATOR,3 PHASE LUCAS UK - PRE 2012 PRODUCTION - NOT NEW LUCAS/WASSELL
Genuine Lucas RM24 three-phase stator, pre-2012 UK production, PN 47244.
This is a genuine Lucas RM24 three-phase stator, the older UK-production run made before 2012 (not the newer Lucas/Wassell reproduction). It's an electrical part, sitting inside the primary case around the alternator rotor, and it's what generates the AC current that keeps the battery charged and the lights and ignition running.

Our catalog data shows this stator carries the Lucas PN 47244, also listed as LU47244. It's the three-wire, three-phase design that Lucas used on later unit-construction Triumph twins, and it's the kind of upgrade some owners fit to earlier two-phase charging systems along with a matching regulator to get better output at low rpm - but pairing parts like that is something to sort out with us before you order so the charging system all matches up.
Because this is the older, discontinued UK-made stator rather than the currently produced version, once our stock is gone that's it for this particular batch - worth keeping in mind if you're planning ahead on a charging system rebuild.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
