DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR 3TA/5TA
Distributor rotor arm for the Lucas 18D2 distributor fitted to Triumph 3TA and 5TA models.
This is the distributor rotor for the Lucas 18D2 distributor as fitted to Triumph 3TA and 5TA models. The rotor arm sits on top of the distributor shaft and spins past the fixed contacts inside the cap, sending spark to each plug in turn. It's a simple part but a worn or cracked rotor can cause misfires or no-start conditions, so it's worth checking when you're troubleshooting ignition issues on these machines.
