BSA Connecting rod complete

A complete connecting rod assembly from the bottom end of the engine, catalogued for 1969-1970.

PN · 41-0549

This is a complete connecting rod, catalogued under the CYLINDER AND CRANKSHAFT figure for the 1969-1970 model years. It's the link between the piston and the crankshaft down in the bottom half of the engine, and when a parts book calls it out as complete it means the rod comes with its cap and the fasteners that hold it together as an assembly, not just the bare forging.

Other catalogs list this same rod under the B44 designation, which tells you the family it belongs to even though our own record doesn't spell out the exact machine. If you're sourcing one of these for a rebuild, have your crankcase and crank on hand to check the fit before you commit, since rod length and journal size have to match up exactly.

Give us a call if you want to confirm this is the right rod for what's on your bench. We'd rather talk it through than have you order the wrong part.
