BSA Knee grip, left-hand, 4 gallon
Left-hand knee grip for a 4-gallon steel petrol tank.
This is a left-hand knee grip for a 4-gallon steel petrol tank, listed in the catalog under PETROL TANK (STEEL) and TWIN SEAT figures. Knee grips mount to the sides of the tank to give the rider's knee something to hold against under braking and hard cornering, and they also protect the paint from wear and scuffing where your legs grip the tank.

The catalog record shows this as the left-hand side piece specifically, so if you're replacing a pair you'll want the matching right-hand grip as well, sold separately under its own number. Our record ties this to the 4-gallon steel tank fitment shown in the parts book, spanning catalog appearances from 1969 into 1970.
If you're not sure whether your tank is the 4-gallon steel version this grip is cataloged for, give us a call before ordering and we'll help confirm fitment.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
