BSA Washer, rear guard to frame
A washer fitted where the rear mudguard mounts to the frame.

The catalog shows it under the MUDGUARDS figure, appearing across entries from 1969 to 1970. It's not a part that gets much attention until it's missing or rusted through, but if you're putting a rear guard back on, it's worth having a few on hand.
