Bolt, brake pedal to pivot (3/8" British Standard Cycle × 3/4")

3/8 in. BSC x 3/4 in. bolt that pivots the rear brake pedal, from the footrests and brake linkage section.

PN · 40-6030

This is the bolt that fastens the brake pedal to its pivot, as listed in the FOOTRESTS AND BRAKE LINKAGE section of the parts book. It's a 3/8 inch British Standard Cycle bolt, 3/4 inch long, and it's the pin the whole rear brake pedal swings on.

It shows up in the catalog across 1969 and 1970 appearances, but we don't have anything narrowing it down further to a specific model, so check it against what's on your bike before ordering.

This is a wear item worth checking when you're servicing the brake linkage - a worn or bent pivot bolt will show up as sloppy pedal feel before anything else does.
