Jet block (1 3/16 in. choke)

Amal carburetor jet block, 1 3/16 in. choke size, for the TR6 carb.

PN · 389/110

This is an Amal jet block, the casting inside the carburetor body that carries the main jet and holds the float chamber connection. It sits at the bottom of the mixing chamber on the Amal carb used on the TR6, and it's one of those parts that quietly does its job until it wears at the jet seat or the float chamber threads and starts giving you fueling trouble that's hard to pin down.

The catalog lists this one as the 1 3/16 in. choke size, so it's matched to a specific bore Amal carb rather than being a universal fit. If you're rebuilding a carb and pulling the old jet block, check the choke size stamped or cast into the body against this before you order, since jet blocks aren't interchangeable across different carb sizes.

This part shows up in our records tied to the TR6 carburetor figure. If your parts book lists a different number for the jet block on your bike, give us a call and we'll sort out which one you actually need.
