Cover nut
Pilot jet cover nut for Amal Monobloc carburetors, part number 376/095.
This is the cover nut for the pilot jet circuit on an Amal Monobloc carburetor, part number 376/095. It threads onto the body of the carb over the pilot jet, keeping road grime and vibration away from that part of the fuel circuit and giving you a way to get at the jet without pulling the whole carb apart.

Our catalog shows this nut turning up across a long run of Amal Monobloc applications, listed against Triumph twins from the 3TA and 5TA through the 6T, T90, T100 family, T110, TR6, and T120 in various forms, spanning catalog years 1960 through 1967. If your bike runs a Monobloc carb of this general type, this is worth checking against what's on the bench.
It's a small, easy to lose part, and one that's simple to check for wear where it seats against the jet. If you're rebuilding a Monobloc, it's a good one to inspect and replace while everything's apart.
