BUSHING, FLOAT SPINDLE MB

Float spindle bushing for the Amal Monobloc carburetor, part number 376/094.

PN · 376/094

This is the float spindle bushing for the Amal Monobloc carburetor, part number 376/094. It sits inside the float chamber where the float spindle pivots, giving the spindle a clean, snug place to rotate as the float rises and falls with fuel level.

In our catalog it turns up across the Amal Monobloc carburetor figures for the T90, T100, 6T, and TR6, so it's a part that shows up again and again on unit-construction Triumph twins running Monobloc carbs through the mid 1960s. If your float is sloppy or the spindle has developed play, this bushing is one of the usual suspects worth checking.

It's a small part but it matters to how consistently the float sets fuel level, which affects starting and how the bike runs at idle and low speed. Worth having on hand when you're servicing a Monobloc carb rather than waiting for a rebuild to turn up a worn one.
