Centre spacer- rear hub 1 latest caliper plate

Centre spacer for the rear hub used with the later caliper plate setup, catalog number 37-7010.

PN · 37-7010
Superseded by 37-7063.

This is the centre spacer that sits in the rear hub on bikes fitted with the later caliper plate arrangement. The catalog lists it as 37-7010, appearing in the REAR WHEEL figures for 1976-1978 in our records. It was later superseded by 37-7063, so if your parts book or an old invoice shows either number, you're looking at the same physical piece.

A centre spacer like this locates the hub correctly between the bearings so the wheel sits square and the caliper plate lines up as it should. Given the narrow window this one shows up in our catalog, it's worth checking your rear hub setup against the number before ordering, since Triumph made a few changes to the rear brake and hub over these years.

If you're not sure whether you've got the earlier or later caliper plate arrangement, give us a call with your hub in front of you and we'll help sort out which spacer you need.
