BRAKE SHOE PIVOT
A brake shoe pivot pin for the drum brake assembly that the brake shoes pivot against.
This is a brake shoe pivot, part number 37-3798, the fixed post inside the drum brake that one end of the brake shoes locates against so the shoes have something to pivot on when the brake is applied. It's a simple, low-cost piece but it does real work every time the brake is used, and a worn or bent one can throw off how evenly the shoes contact the drum.
