Brake anchor strap
A rear wheel brake anchor strap that holds the drum brake backplate stationary against the frame or fork end.
The 37-2335 is a brake anchor strap for the rear wheel, part of the drum brake setup on the back end of the bike. This piece ties the brake backplate to the frame or fork end so the plate can't rotate with the drum when the brake is applied - without it the whole backplate would just spin along with the wheel instead of staying put to do its job.

It shows up in the rear wheel section of the parts books, and our records tie it to catalog appearances from 1968 through 1970. The older alias for this part is W2335, so if you're working from an earlier parts book or a part bin with old stampings, that's the same physical piece.
If you're rebuilding a rear drum brake assembly and the anchor strap is bent, cracked, or missing, it's worth sourcing this rather than improvising a fix, since a compromised strap means the backplate can shift under braking. Give the shop a call if you want us to confirm fitment against your specific bike before you order.
