O-RING, MONOBLOC FLANGE - THICK CROSS-SECTION
Thick cross-section flange O-ring for Amal Monobloc carburetors, sealing the carb-to-manifold joint.
This is the flange O-ring for an Amal Monobloc carburetor, the thick cross-section version. It seats where the carb body mounts to the intake stub or manifold flange, sealing that joint so the engine draws clean air only through the venturi and not around the mounting face. A tired or flattened one here is a classic cause of an air leak that shows up as a lean, hard-to-tune idle or hunting at low revs even when the jets and float height are right.

The part shows up across a long run of Amal Monobloc carburetor figures in our records, including the various T90, T100, 6T, TR6, and T120 carb setups, so it's a part that gets ordered a lot regardless of which specific machine it's coming off. If your parts book lists it under 244/1048 that's the same ring you're looking at here.
Worth knowing before you order: current production flange O-rings are made to fit the later Concentric-style flange, so if you're rebuilding an original Monobloc you want the thick cross-section version specifically, not the newer thin one. Check what's actually on your carb flange before you buy, since the two are not interchangeable.
