This is the inner axle nut for the rear wheel on the right-hand, drive side of the bike, as fitted through the 1968-70 window shown in the catalog listing. It's a hex nut, 1 5/16 across the flats, 7/16 thick, and it works down inside the wheel to hold the spindle and drive-side hardware in place against the hub.
