High-tension lead clip

A clip that secures the high-tension (spark plug) lead to keep it from vibrating loose.

PN · 19-866 / 421863

This is a high-tension lead clip, the small fitting that keeps the HT lead (the wire running from coil or magneto to the spark plug) held in place rather than flopping around near the engine and vibrating loose. It shows up in the electrical equipment section of the parts book, which is where you'd expect a clip like this to live.

The catalog record we have on this one is brief, just the single listing from 1969, so we don't have extra detail on wire routing or exact mounting point beyond what the description tells you. If you're chasing down a specific electrical fitting for a job, bring in the old clip or a photo of where it mounts and we can match it up.

Despite the Amal tag in our system, this is an electrical fitting, not a carburetor part - worth keeping in mind if you're cross-shopping bins.
