Stop switch, rear brake
Rear brake stop switch that trips the brake light when the rear pedal is applied.
This is the rear brake stop switch, the little switch that trips the brake light when you press the rear pedal. It shows up in the electrical equipment section of the parts book, which is where you'd expect it, since its whole job is closing a circuit rather than doing anything mechanical to the brake itself.

The manufacturer tag on this one says Amal, which doesn't line up with what the part actually is. Switches like this are electrical components, not carburetor parts, so take that Amal label with a grain of salt. Our catalog record only ties it to a single listing year, so beyond that we don't have much more to go on.
If you're chasing a brake light that won't come on with the rear pedal, or one that stays lit all the time, this switch is a common culprit. Give the shop a call and we'll confirm fitment before you order.
We've never carried this one. Tell us what you're after and we'll go looking — you'll get a price and photos before you commit to anything.
