SEAL,OIL DIST SHAFT

This is an oil seal for the distributor/dynamo shaft, the small rubber or synthetic ring that keeps engine oil from creeping out along the shaft where it passes through the housing. It's a simple, inexpensive part but it does real work — a worn or hardened seal here is a common source of a slow oil leak that people chase for months before finding it.
