Screw (7/8 in. U.H.)

A 7/8 in. screw used on the outer timing cover and kickstart/footchange area of the engine.

PN · 14-6607
Available in 12 sizes:

This is a 7/8 in. long screw that shows up on the outer timing cover and around the kickstart and footchange area, and also on the timing cover and contact breaker assembly. It's a small fastener but one you want the correct length for, since these covers seal against gasket faces and a screw that's too long or too short can cause trouble either way.

Catalog appearances put this one in service across a run of years in the late '60s through the mid '70s, showing up in more than one figure on the timing side of the engine. If you're pulling a timing cover or working on the kickstart/footchange mechanism, it's worth checking your existing screws against this one before you order.

Thread and head details vary a bit depending on which record you're looking at, so if you need an exact match, bring the old screw to the counter or give us a call and we'll confirm what you've got.
