SCREW,HEAT SHIELD BSA UNF
UNF screw for the heat shield on TR6R/TR6C cylinder block and head assemblies.
This is the screw that holds a heat shield in place up around the cylinder block and head area on TR6R and TR6C models from the early '70s. It's a UNF thread fastener, and though the catalog description calls out BSA in the wording, this one shows up right in the Triumph parts books for the TR6R/TR6C cylinder block and head sections, so don't let that throw you off - it's a Triumph catalog part.

Heat shields catch a lot of engine heat and vibration over the years, and the small hardware holding them on is often what goes missing or snaps off first. If you're pulling a shield for paint or to get at something underneath, it's worth having a spare or two of this screw on hand since they don't always come back out clean.
The catalog also lists this under the number 91772A555, so if that's what's printed in your parts book, it's the same physical part. Appears in the cylinder block and head figures for TR6R and TR6C into the early '70s.
