This is a 5/16 UNF bolt, 1 1/4 inch under-head length, showing up across the exhaust system and motor unit fitting and footrest sections of the parts books. It's a general fastener that the factory called on wherever this size and length were needed rather than a part unique to one bracket, so you'll find it doing duty on exhaust pipe and muffler mounting as well as footrest and motor unit fitting hardware.

Because it turns up in multiple figures across a long catalog run, from the early '70s into 1980, it's one of those bolts worth keeping a few of in the parts drawer. If you're chasing down a specific mounting point, check the fitting around it to be sure this is the length and thread you need, but the spec itself is straightforward: 5/16 UNF thread, 1 1/4 inch under-head.
