Kickstarter pedal
Kickstarter pedal for the gearbox outer cover, the foot-operated arm used to start the engine.
Part number 11272 is the kickstarter pedal, the arm that folds out from the gearbox outer cover so you can swing your leg down and fire the engine over by foot. It shows up in the parts book under the gearbox outer cover and levers figures, which is exactly where you'd expect to find it on the bike.

This one turns up in the catalog across 1968 and 1969 listings. The manufacturer code on file says Lucas, but a kickstart pedal is a mechanical gearbox part, not an electrical one, so don't put much weight on that tag.
If you're chasing a replacement, have your gearbox outer cover in front of you so you can check the mounting spline and folding action match up before you order.
