Norton Seating, Spherical
A spherical (tapered) seating washer for the exhaust pipe-to-head joint on a Norton.
This is a spherical exhaust pipe seating, sometimes called a taper or cone washer, that sits where the exhaust head pipe meets the port on the cylinder head. It's the small conical fitting that lets the pipe seal against the head while allowing a bit of articulation so the joint doesn't crack under vibration and heat cycling.

The catalog lists this under exhaust and muffler fittings, and it's a Norton part number, not a Triumph one. It's a small, easily overlooked piece, but if it's worn or missing the joint won't seal properly and you'll get exhaust leaks and blowing at the head.
Our record only shows this appearing once in the catalog, tied to 1975. Confirm fitment against your actual head pipe before ordering.
