Norton Tank, Roadster, Black with lining
A black-with-lining Roadster-style steel or glass fibre gas tank listed in the fuel tank section of the parts book.
This is a Roadster-style gas tank finished in black with lining, as listed in the gas tank section of the parts book. The figure grouping it comes from covers gas tanks and gas tank fittings, so this is a fuel tank, not anything to do with chains or drivetrain despite what the supplier code on this listing might suggest.

The catalog entry ties this tank to appearances in the 1971-1972 span of records we have on file, and it's a single-line listing, so we don't have a lot of extra detail beyond the description itself: black paint with a lining stripe, Roadster tank shape. If you're trying to match this to a specific model, it's worth calling the shop so we can confirm the tank shape and mounting points line up with what you've got.
Worth noting: the manufacturer code attached to this part number in our system points to a chain maker, which almost certainly doesn't apply to a fuel tank. Go by the description and figure title here, not the code.
