Norton Gear, 4th, Layshaft
A 4th gear for the gearbox layshaft, part of the internal gear cluster.
06-1058 is a 4th gear for the layshaft in the gearbox cluster. It's one of the gears that sits on the layshaft and works with its mating gear on the mainshaft to give you the ratio for 4th, so it lives right in the middle of the gearbox internals along with the shell, the rest of the gear cluster, the sprocket, and the mounting hardware.

Our record for this one is thin - it only shows up once in the catalog, tied to 1975. If you're rebuilding a box and pulling gears for inspection, this is the part to match up against wear or chipping on the layshaft 4th.
Gear cluster work is fiddly to get right, so before you order, check the tooth count and shaft fit against what's actually in your case. Call the shop if you want to talk through it.
