Norton Screw, Crankshaft Oilway
A small screw that plugs an oilway in the crankshaft/timing area of the engine, keeping oil pressure directed properly.
This is the crankshaft oilway screw, part number 06-7600. It sits down in the bottom end of the engine, in the area covered by the crankshaft, connecting rods, camshaft and timing gear, and it shows up again in the timing cover and oil pump section of the parts book. That double appearance tells you it's a small fastener that plugs one of the internal oil passages in the crank or timing side of the case, keeping oil pressure routed where it needs to go instead of leaking out an unused drilling.

Our catalog record ties this one to 1975 appearances and nothing more specific in terms of model. It's a plain but important little screw - if it's missing or loose you can lose oil pressure to the parts of the engine that actually need it, so it's worth checking when you've got the timing cover or crank exposed for other work.
We don't have more detail on this one beyond where it turns up in the book. If you're chasing this down for a rebuild, give us a call and we'll help confirm it's the right one for what you've got apart on the bench.
