The catalog record for this one is brief, tied to a single figure titled Gearbox: Inner Cover, but that lines up with what the description says: it's the seal that goes between the inner and outer covers on the box. Cheap enough to replace any time you've got the covers off, and not something to reuse once it's been compressed and pulled apart.
This is a Norton part, not a Triumph one, despite showing up filed here with our Triumph inventory. If you're working on a Commando or Atlas gearbox and pulling the outer cover, this is the gasket you want on hand before you button it back up. Give us a call if you want to confirm it matches what's on your bench.
