Norton Circlip, Valve Guide
A retaining circlip for the valve guide in the engine's valve gear.

This is a circlip that seats on the valve guide, part of the engine valve gear assembly. Its job is to keep the guide located in the head so it doesn't work its way out of position under running vibration and heat cycling.
