Norton Washer. Large Plain
A large plain steel washer used in Norton Commando fuel tank mounting and electrical fittings.
This is a large plain washer that shows up in the Norton parts book under fuel tank fittings and again under the basic electrics group. On a Commando it's used as a mounting washer, most commonly associated with securing the fuel tank. The catalog also lists it in an electrical fittings group, so it's a general-purpose flat washer that got used in more than one spot rather than something built for one job only.

It's made of steel. Nothing fancy here - it spreads load under a nut or bolt head and keeps things from digging into whatever they're clamped against. Since it turns up in two separate figure groups, don't assume it's exclusively a tank washer; check your own parts book against the figure you're working from to confirm where yours belongs.
We carry it under 01-4999. If your parts book lists it as 014999 that's the same washer, just without the dash.
