124/026 Jet -cold start
The cold start (pilot) jet for the Amal Mk2 Concentric carburetor, PN 124/026, later 124/026E.
This is the cold start jet, also called the pilot jet, for the Amal Mk2 Concentric carburetor. It's the small threaded jet that meters fuel for starting and idle, working alongside the main jet in the Mk2 body. The catalog lists it as 124/026, and the number was later updated to 124/026E, which is the same physical jet under the newer factory designation.

You'll find this jet called out in the Amal Mk2 Concentric carb figures, including the listings for the T140E and T140D carburetor setups. If your parts book or an old invoice shows 124/026 instead of 124/026E, don't worry, they're the same part, just different points in the numbering history.
This is a small, specific piece of the carburetor's fuel metering circuit. Before ordering, it's worth pulling your existing jet and checking the number stamped or marked on it against what's called out here, since Mk2 carbs saw a few different jet specs depending on application.
