TOP FORK LUG T140 73-78

Top fork lug (top yoke/triple clamp) for the T140-era Triumph front end, PN 97-4381.

PN · 97-4381

The 97-4381 is the top fork lug, also called the top yoke or triple clamp, off the front end of the T140-era Triumph. It's the casting that sits above the headlamp nacelle area and clamps the two fork legs together at the top, with the steering stem running down through the center into the frame's steering head. This is what the handlebars and top of the forks actually bolt to.

Catalog listings tie this part to the T140 across the mid-to-late '70s production run, and other records show it also showing up under the T150 designation. It's a straightforward casting but it's central to how the front end holds together, so fit and finish matter if you're rebuilding a front end from the ground up.

We've only got the one catalog entry for this number, but the description is clean and the fitment window is consistent across what we've seen. If you're not sure whether your bike takes this exact lug versus an earlier pre-disc-brake yoke, bring in your old one or give us a call before ordering.
