LEFT FORK EAR T140 73-78 (WITH SWITCH BOSS)
Left-side fork ear bracket with switch boss, mounts the headlight to the fork leg on T140-era Triumphs, 1973-78.
This is the left-hand fork ear off a Triumph fork leg, the bracket that holds the headlight shell to the top of the fork tube and carries the boss for the ignition switch. The catalog description ties it to the T140-era models built from 1973 through 1978, and it also shows up under the older H4121 number if you're working from a pre-metric parts book.

Because it's cast with the switch boss built in, this ear does double duty: it's structural (headlight mounting) and functional (gives you a home for the ignition switch on that side). It bolts to the fork leg along with its mate on the right side, and the two together form the headlight mounting yoke up front.
If you're replacing one, check the fork leg diameter and switch hardware on your bike before ordering, since fork ear castings changed across model years and you want the boss to actually match the switch you're running.
