Left-hand side cover body for the air filter/air cleaner box, catalog PN 83-2798.
This is the left-hand side cover body, listed in the sidecover and air cleaner figures. It sits over the air filter housing on the left side of the bike, and it's the body panel itself rather than the badge, emblem, or fixing hardware that goes with it.

Our catalog references it under two figure titles, SIDECOVERS - AIR CLEANER and SIDECOVERS - AIR FILTER, which lines up with its job of covering the air filter box. The older alias F12798 is the pre-decimal parts-book number for the same physical piece if you're cross-checking against an earlier book.
The catalog entries we have span 1971 to 1972. If you're not sure this is the right cover for your bike, give us a call with your frame or engine number and we'll confirm before you order.
