BSA Nut for connecting rod bolt (5/16" British Standard Cycle)

Nut for the connecting rod bolt, 5/16 inch British Standard Cycle thread.

PN · 75-6594

This is the nut used on the connecting rod bolt, sized for 5/16 inch British Standard Cycle thread. The catalog record shows it turning up under the CRANKSHAFT figure as well as a couple of other figure titles that look like they've gotten crossed in our records, so treat this one as a crankshaft/con-rod fastener rather than anything to do with mudguards or petrol tank fittings.

Because it's tied to the connecting rod bolt, this nut is part of what holds the rod cap onto the crankpin, so it's a fastener you want in good condition and torqued correctly rather than reused if it's tired or buggered up.

Our catalog data spans appearances from 1969 to 1970, but we don't have a specific model tied to this part number beyond that. Give the shop a call and we'll help confirm fitment before you order.
