This is the exhaust camshaft for the T140 unit-construction 750 twin, part number 71-7017. The catalog lists it as a replacement for the earlier 71-3010, so if your parts book shows the old number, this is the current equivalent.

It lives down in the bottom end, in the crankcase area covered under the CRANKSHAFT AND CONNECTING RODS figure, and it's the cam that controls exhaust valve timing and lift on that side of the engine. It's a performance grind, sold alongside a matching inlet cam, and built for engines set up to run that pair together rather than the stock profile.

Cam swaps on these engines mean getting the right followers and clearances sorted at the same time, so if you're not already deep into a cam change, give us a call before you order and we'll make sure this is the piece you actually need.
