This is the gasket that seals the rocker inspection cover on the 4-screw type valve cover found on 650 and 750 unit twins. It sits under the small cover on top of the cylinder head that lets you get at the rocker gear without pulling the whole head cover off. Catalog listings place it on the TR7RV and T140V figures for the cylinder block and head.

If your inspection cover uses six screws instead of four, this is not the gasket you want — the shop stocks 71-3673 for that version, so check the cover before you order. This one is specific to the 4-screw pattern.
It is also known under the older 2232 part number, so if you're working from an early parts book and see that number instead, it's the same gasket.
