TAPPET COVER GASKET 750 - 6 SCREW TYPE (For 4 Screw use 71-2574)
Six-screw tappet/rocker box inspection cover gasket for Triumph 750 unit twins, PN 71-3673.
This is the tappet cover gasket for 750cc unit twins, the six-screw version. It seals the small inspection cover over the rocker box/tappet area on the cylinder head, the cover you pull to check or adjust valve clearances. Keep the surfaces clean and this gasket keeps oil where it belongs instead of seeping out around the cover screws.

The six-screw type is what you want here — there's a four-screw version of this cover on earlier setups, and that one takes a different gasket, part number 71-2574. Don't mix the two up or you'll be chasing a leak that won't seal no matter how tight you run the screws.
In our records this part shows up under the legacy 24T number as well as 71-3673, and it appears across the TR7RV and T140V cylinder block and head listings in the catalog. It's a cheap and easy thing to have on hand any time that cover comes off.
