Screw (1-1/8 in. U.H.)
A 1-1/8 in. timing cover screw for the contact breaker and coil cover area, listed under 70-3801 (formerly E3801).
This is a screw used on the timing cover, the part that bolts over the contact breaker and coil area on the front of the engine. The catalog lists it as a 1-1/8 inch under-head length screw, and it shows up across timing cover and contact breaker figures from the mid-to-late 1960s in our records. The older parts books list this one under the E3801 number, which is the same physical screw as today's 70-3801.

If you're pulling the timing cover to get at the points or the coils tucked behind it, this is one of the fasteners holding that cover on. Worth checking your own cover for the length you need before ordering, since timing covers use a mix of screw lengths depending on where they sit around the cover face.
We don't have more detail on this one beyond the length and the figures it appears in, so if you're not sure this is the exact screw your cover calls for, give us a call and we'll confirm before you order.
