ROCKER GASKET,56-62 WIRE
Rocker box gasket for 1956-62 Triumph wire-type rocker boxes, PN 70-3552W.
This is a rocker box gasket, listed in the books as fitting 1956-62 wire-type rocker boxes on Triumph twins. The 70-3552 form is the same part as the later 70-3552W designation, and it seals the rocker box cover against the rocker box itself, keeping oil where it belongs up top on the cylinder head.

The "wire" in the description refers to the gasket construction rather than an electrical part - these gaskets are built with a metal reinforcement to help them seal and hold shape under repeated removal for valve adjustment. If you're pulling rocker covers for a check on the tappets, plan on a fresh gasket rather than reusing the old one.
We don't have much more in our own records tying this to a specific model or year beyond what's printed above, so if you're not sure your rocker box is the 56-62 wire type, bring in the old gasket or the covers themselves and we'll match it up before you order.
Sorry if we got something wrong here. If you think this information isn't correct, .
