CON ROD,SMALL JOURNAL CRANK TRIUMPH 1938-53 by LF Harris UK (used unit T100 shell inserts) 1.4375 std

Connecting rod for small journal Triumph cranks (1938-53), machined to accept unit T100-style shell bearing inserts, std 1.4375 in. journal size.

PN · 70-1450

This is a connecting rod for the small journal Triumph crank, covering machines from 1938 through 1953. It's a Harris-made replacement part, built to take the later shell-type bearing inserts that unit T100 engines used, rather than the original bearing arrangement these early engines came with.

The rod carries a std big-end journal size of 1.4375 in. If your crank has been reworked to accept shell inserts, or you're sourcing a rod for a small journal motor that's already set up that way, this is the part to look at. If your engine is still in its original bearing configuration, check with us before ordering so we can confirm what you actually need.

We don't have much more history on this one in our records beyond what's on the part itself. Give the shop a call if you want to talk through fitment before you order.
